Here at the Cinnamon Inn we value your visit and will do everything possible to make your stay memorable.  To ensure you will have a wonderful experience at the Cinnamon Inn Bed and Breakfast, we have established the following policies.

Booking A Reservation:

Cinnamon Inn does not accept walk-in guests. Bookings within 48 hours of stay must be made online, unless you need to make special arrangements, you are welcome call us at 352-383-6541.

During the major events (July and December) and all major holiday weekends, there may be a two night minimum stay required.

Major Holiday weekends include: Valentine's Day, various holiday weekends, the July 4th holiday period, Labor Day weekend, after Thanksgiving Weekend. Please check our availability calendar for rates on specific dates.

Cinnamon Inn will be closed December 22th through January 2nd starting 2019+

Room Rates:

Our room rates include double occupancy, a full gourmet breakfast each morning, and complimentary beverages within your stay.  

Debra’s Room is the only room where a third guest is welcome at an additional $15 per night. Local taxes (12.5%) are not included in room rates.

Prices may vary on weekends and holidays and only rates as published on the Inn's website are guaranteed. Please check our availability calendar for rates on specific dates.

Deposits:

A 20% deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time of making your reservation. The balance will be charged to your card the day your arrival.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card regardless of how the final payment will be made. We accept MC, Visa, and AmEx credit cards and Gift Certificates. We do not accept personal checks.

A group booking of two to four rooms require non-refundable deposit of 50% and full payment at arrival. 

Check-In & Check-Out:

Check-In is between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Arrangements for late arrivals should be made in advance with the Innkeeper. Please indicate exact time of arrival when booking.

Out of respect and courtesy of other house guests and our Innkeeper. Please, no calls or late arrivals after 9:00PM, unless prior arrangements are made.

Early arrivals are discouraged since our small staff is busy turning the rooms over from the previous night to ensure everything is ready for your check-in at 3:00, and a $40 fee will be assessed on the final bill for urgency and extra housekeeping preparations related to unexpected arrivals. Please, no early drop-off of bags or in-room items.

*Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any momentary drop off of internet or power outages due to weather conditions or the like. We do our best to ensure our guests are well equipped during their stay.

Check-Out time is at 11:00 a.m. and unless prior arrangements have made with the Innkeeper. Guests are asked not to linger so that property staff can prepare our facilities for incoming guests.

Etiquette:

Most Bed & Breakfasts are privately owned residences and it is the host’s unique pleasure to share their blessing and care for others. There are however, some etiquette common to all residential Bed & Breakfasts', such as noise control and waste management.

Gift Certificates:

If you are redeeming a Cinnamon Inn gift certificate, the number must be provided at the time of making your reservation.

In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, gift certificates become void. Gift certificates expire one year from date of issue. Any balance left on the certificate is forfeited if not used by the expiration date and no refunds will be issued.

Guests that will be redeeming there online certificates are subject to all the conditions terms of booking rates and availability.

The voucher does not include the room taxes and taxes are applied at Check-In.


Special Discounts:

Cinnamon Inn offers a special discount for our active and retired military; proper ID must be shown upon arrival to confirm the special rate.

When booking online, select the Special Rates option to select military discount or to input a promotional code.

Any other special discount, please inquire prior to booking to reservation.

Only one discount or promotion can be applied at a time.

 

Cancellations:

Making a reservation at a bed and breakfast is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy:

◊Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of their actual arrival or departure date.

◊No-shows are responsible for full payment of their entire reservation.

◊Cancellations (including changes) made within 7 days of booking your reservation, the 20% deposit is refundable.

◊If you cancel or make changes outside the 7 days of booking your reservation, 20% deposit will not be refunded.

◊There are some exceptions to this policy including sickness, and family emergencies, please call for such matters.

Guest, Children, and Pets:

Cinnamon Inn is considered a quiet escape and romantic getaway for most of our guests, and we work hard to nurture that environment. Therefore, it is not an appropriate place for children under 14.

We care for the comfort, privacy, and security of our registered guests. Persons not staying overnight at the Inn are not permitted in the house at any time. Guest visitors are always welcome by special requests.

If you would like to have any non-registered guests join you for breakfast there is an additional charge of $20 per person and advance notice is required.

We regret that we are not able to accommodate pets at this time.

Wedding Night Stay & Visitors:

If you are you booking a stay for your wedding night, please be advised that our guest rooms, common areas, and grounds are for our registered guests only.

Booking a reservation for a stay does not entitle a bride or groom (or any booking guest), family and friends to use any guest room or any part of the Inn or grounds for bridal party wedding preparations and photographs without the Innkeeper's prior consent.

Smoking, Candles & Alcohol, Guns:

Due to the historic nature of our building, and for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow smoking inside of any of the rooms, fireworks, or incense/candle burning in any of our guest rooms or on any of the grounds of the Cinnamon Inn.

Smoking is permitted in outside designated areas, all rooms are non-smoking status.

Cinnamon Inn does not hold a license to resell alcoholic beverages. Guests may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly. There are several establishments to purchase locally as well.

Wine, Beer, and Champagne only are permitted. Cinnamon Inn and/or employees will not be held responsible for any incidents.

For Special Events hard liquor is not permitted.

Guns and Drugs are not permitted on the property at any time.

Photography:

We do understand that our grounds and home are the perfect setting for your photographs, we do allow outside photographers for group/family/graduation/wedding/etc. Special photo shoots are available upon request.  

(Caveat) No photographs are permitted without prior permission of the Innkeeper. 

We encourage guests to post any personal photos taken for social media with the hashtags #CinnamonInn or #CinnamonInnMountDora

Property Damages:

Any damages, stolen items, or broken items occurring during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling with the guest.

Please report all spills and/or damages to the Innkeeper promptly. Any special clean-up resulting in damages caused by the guests will be charged to the credit card.

Charges up to $150 may be applied after guest departure as deemed necessary by the Owner/Innkeeper.

The Inn is privately owned and operated. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and loving environment to all who come to our home, in hopes to leave a lasting impression. We care for the safety and personal well being of every guest, with that said, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on the grounds of safety and/or security.

Although we take every care possible to secure everyone's personal belongings, we cannot be held responsible for lost items. We cannot be held responsible for guest accidents, injury, or for the loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.
